Introducing Whispers of Lavender – Whipped Tallow. A calming blend made by slowly infusing organic sweet almond oil with whole lavender flowers over low heat, then lightly whipped into our buttery tallow base to create a soothing, floral-rich cream.
Ingredients Grass-fed and Grass-finished organic Tallow (suet), Organic Sweet Almond Oil, Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
How to use Take a small amount and warm with your hands. Apply to both face and body for over enrichment.
Where do we source our Tallow (suet)? The suet is responsibly sourced from local organic farmers in the Coffs Harbour region on the Mid North Coast.
What is beef Tallow (suet)? Beef Tallow (suet) is the leaf fat found around the kidneys of a cow, distinct from the fat typically seen on a steak or within the body. Unlike the marbling in meat or body fat, suet is a dense, firm fat with a higher concentration of vitamins and minerals. When rendered down, suet transforms into beef tallow, which is nutrient-rich.
How do we render and purify our Tallow? Our Tallow undergoes a gentle wet rendering process 4 times at low temperatures to preserve the integrity of the enzymes and nutrients, we use purified water and Celtic salt which is high in minerals such as magnesium, potassium and calcium that are infused into our tallow.
How do we make our Tallow into luxurious skincare? After our Tallow goes through multiple purifying steps it is then whipped together with 100% organic sweet almond oil (plus any herbal and floral infusions that will be in our scented range) then it’s ready to be sent off to you and added into your daily rituals.
